At Whangarei Intermediate we believe that all children have the right to attend school without fear of physical or mental harassment. To this end, the school has a clear and determined policy of non-violence, which applies to both staff members and pupils. Parents are encouraged to bring to the attention of the class teacher or principal any causes for concern in this regard. They would also be wise to ensure that children understand that any such actions will not be tolerated by the school administration.
